Terms of Service
By using the HoardX app or services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use HoardX.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to participate in marketplace transactions.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. Sign in with Apple is required.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items
- Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- Misrepresent items, conditions, or transaction terms
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Your Content
You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and content you create. By posting content on HoardX, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service.
Marketplace
- You may list items as private, showcased, open to offers, trade-only, or for sale
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of item descriptions and photos
- You must ship items as described within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 7 days of payment)
- HoardX charges a 7.9% transaction fee on completed sales (5% platform fee + 2.9% payment processing). HoardX absorbs all third-party payment processing costs from its portion of the fee.
- Buyers pay shipping costs at checkout
- Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery or 7 days after delivery, whichever comes first
- HoardX is not a party to transactions between users. We facilitate the connection and provide payment, shipping, and dispute infrastructure but are not the buyer or seller.
Trade-Only Items
Items marked Trade-Only are exchanged peer-to-peer. HoardX does not process payment, generate shipping labels, or escrow funds for trade-only transactions. You are responsible for the coordination, shipping, and any disputes.
Fees
- Marketplace transaction fee: 7.9% of the sale price, charged to the seller
- HoardX Premium subscription: tiered pricing disclosed in-app
- Scan packs: tiered pricing disclosed in-app
- All fees are disclosed before purchase
Subscriptions
HoardX Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Disputes
Buyers may open a dispute within 30 days of marked delivery for items not as described, not received, or damaged. HoardX reviews each dispute within 5 business days and decides outcomes at its discretion: full refund, partial refund, or release to seller. HoardX's decision is final under these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using HoardX at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of AI-generated drafts, accuracy of marketplace listings, or the conduct of other users.
HoardX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Games Workshop, Wizards of the Coast, Ravensburger, Asmodee, or any other brand referenced in catalog metadata. References to such brands are made in good faith as nominative fair use to enable users to catalog and trade items they own.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoardX's total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid HoardX in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HoardX harmless from claims arising from your content, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
